Hi All,
There is a 2002 Comanche up for sale that I'm interested in but unfortunately it doesn't have the spec sheet.
It's serial number is CLF27153 and from the registry it used to be owned by one of the members. I've pm'd him but I was wondering if there is someone at G&L I can contact to get the details - neck profile, fb radius, etc.
I found the post What are the USA neck size options, past and present? which narrows things down but I'm not sure from the pics whether it's a 1 or 2 neck.
Any help greatly appreciated
Some pics of the neck in question here.
Cheers,
Will

A 2002 Comanche wouldn't have a spec sheet. A sales tag might have the neck # on it ( at least one of my G&Ls did ). You could ask the seller to remove the neck and check for more info.
That one has a bi cut neck, pre CNC, and they do tend to vary a bit more in profile from guitar to guitar, so even if you do find the neck profile # you won't really know for sure how it will feel until it is in your hands.

From your picture of the back of the neck (pic #2), it looks like a V-neck profile. Since there was only one V profile available in 2002, it would be the #1V neck:
From our chart in the post you referenced, it is:

Hope this helps.#1V - V-shaped rear (1 5/8 inch nut width, 2 1/4 inch width at body joint, 12-inch radius)

Re: Details about a specific guitar
Thanks for the replies guys.
It does look like a V in one of the photos for sure, although not so much in the long-shot and the seller assures me it's a C of some sort. I dunno.
In the end I can't play it and given what you said SouthpawGuy about the natural variability I feel like I'd need to, so I think I'll just take a pass on this one.
