S-500 pickups on a 90s Legacy?

Hello everybody! For my birthday, I was fortunate to find a beautiful early 90s Legacy..crinkle back plate, SD's, brass spring, allen wrench screw on knobs, etc.. Love the survey body and feel of the whole guitar. From pictures I've seen, the same ere S-500s seem curvy but not like my Legacy...is that accurate? If it is, is it possible to put a loaded S-500 pick guard on a 90s Legacy (3-bolt) body? Thank you!
