The place to discuss, post photos, video, and audio of the G&L products (US instruments, stomp boxes, etc.) produced after 1991, including the amps & gear we use with them.

need help with a G&L L2000

Post by revoltingblob »

So my friend is selling his G&L and he wants $400 with the case. Is it worth it? the serial number is 06086330. I can't seem to find any info with the serial number but it seems to be a later 90's model I think. If anyone can help that would be appreciated. I'll post pictures soon

thx

More like a 2006 Made in Indonesia Tribute L-2000, as explained in this "url=http://www.guitarsbyleo.com/FORUM/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=18]Serial number significance[/url] post. For that model and vintage, the price is reasonable.

Actually, it was made in Korea. Here's the corrected link post: Serial number significance.

Also, see these posts: What is the new Tribute series which G&L announced in 2003? and
Why the change in manufacturing location for the Tributes?.

Hope this helps.
