Fullerton Signature Model
Greetings! Newbie here. I have been a Fender Stratman for 40 yrs and now have a chance to buy a G&L Fullerton Sig Model in great condition. The seller told me there were only 1,000 made and he has #900. Is it worth $850. Appreciate any info as I am new to G&L guitars but know the history of the company., Thanks.-- Bob

Hello Bob,
Welcome to our website!
I cannot confirm nor deny the number that were produced, but the highest serial number registered on our G&L Registry is CF1224. Here's the list of registered George Fullerton Signature guitars.
Depending upon the condition of the guitar, that may be a good price. See this post: Whats my G&L worth.
If you can post some photos of this guitar, case and case candy that will help determine the condition and value of it. To post photos, see: Tutorial: Posting photos.
Hope this helps.

Re: Fullerton Signature Model
Today I purchased my first G&L. A George Fullerton Signature #900. Got it for $700 and not a mark on it. This is a great instrument, blows away any Fender Strat I have ever owned. I hope $700 was a good deal for this, the craftsmanship is outstanding.

I like the v-neck, tremlo seems better, pick-ups are nice, the fit and finish is outstanding.

Re: Fullerton Signature Model
All necks were finished with polyurathene finishes. Nitro finishes were only used in the early years of G&L. See: Finish processes, how we did it then by Fred Finisher.Blue4Now wrote:My early SN GF0363

The George Fullerton Signature model was produced from 1995-2007.
In 2009, the Rustic models came out which had Nitro finishes. The Rustic models were discontinued in July 1, 2015.
Hope this helps.
