Legacy HH to HSS Conversion

Post by GuitarMichael »

Hello, I am looking into buying a used Legacy HH soon and I was wondering what modifications would have to be done to turn it into an HSS. Thanks in advance!

As the Legacy HH has a bathtub route under the pickguard all you will need is a new HSS pickguard and a five way switch to replace the 3 way in the HH.

And a couple of single coil pickups of course ;)

Oh and you might need a switch to split the humbucker, and maybe another to combine the neck and bridge pickups. That is a very versatile setup.
