That there really is something to the truss rod and neck construction. That's one of the big reasons I ordered my ASAT was just from reading reviews about the stability of the necks. Over 3 months in and once I had the strings I liked and dialed things in, here I am 5 or 6 string changes later and I haven't tweaked anything yet! That's rare for me, some guitars need a little help every other week.

Does this pretty much mirror everyone else' experience with relatively new G&L's?

that's how it is for me .... unless there is a huge weather change they don't need tuned

Definitely.
The relief setting hangs in there better than average, and the tuning too.

5+ years here on two ASATs, no adjustments necessary.
