I finally got around to pulling the neck on my S-500 to see when it was built. The body has a date stamp but the neck does not. Does anyone recognize the initials ? Maybe its just me , but is the rosewood fingerboard not an impressive thick slab ? I had no idea it was so thick until I looked at the heel. When were the last of the bi-cut necks built ? I could not get it to show in the pics but I sure noticed a seam once I had the neck off. Maybe it was a replacement neck. This was my first G&L but the last that I pulled the neck on.

Re: S-500 Rosewood...
I also have quite a few guitars set-up by this person. Have no clue who it but (s)he always signs with a Sharpy using initials (sometimes a little more), always the year, sometimes flames(!), and sometimes the word "neckwork". The oldest glyph I have is '98, the youngest '04.
