Phil used an L-2000 in the early 80's, I know I was at at least one of those shows...

And what an imaginative contributor to all that strange-but-great music, a fringe experimenter with substance.
Nice to know he used a G&L. I'd always thought that he'd gone from trying to get stadium rock out of an old semi-acoustic, straight to radical instruments and super-high-tech solutions.
