I bought a brand new 2013 USA Legacy in June, and I like this guitar more every time I pick it up. So much so, I've been thinking I might try to put the same pickups and controls in other guitars.
The build specifications paper says this guitar has G&L CLF-100 pickups, but some reading I've been doing online suggests they MIGHT have actually been made for G&L by Seymour Duncan. Does anyone know?
P.S. Just got a Supro reissue Dual Tone amp to go with this guitar, and it's a magical combination. There's a 3D quality to it, and it mixed perfectly with my band.

Re: Legacy Pickups
The CLF 100 p'ups are G&L made. Early Legacys, in the ealry 1990s, used the non staggered version of the Duncan SSL the SSL 2.

You can get the G&L pickups and pots from the G&L On-Line Store. Also, check out the Album: Instrument Manuals and Wiring Schematics.Raffo wrote:I bought a brand new 2013 USA Legacy in June, and I like this guitar more every time I pick it up. Hope this helps.
