Hi gang,
While perusing the new G&L listings this evening I came across this one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/171879606102?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT
A single picture that looked awfully familiar. Yup, my Blues Boy Contour #9 designed by and specially built for Mr Tim Page.
Weird experience to notice somebody using a picture for your guitar. Don't trust this auction folks!

P.S. If the listing has been taken down already, as I requested the seller to do, great! But you wouldn't necessarily understand what I'm talking about here.
Can you believe this listing?

It now says "This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing."
I sent a message asking for pics of the back and corners, in hopes of a serial number exposure, and he replied it would be relisted..
We'll see if it is.

Some guys are just lazy. I had a guy use my own photos of my Ibanez RG in a classified ad in France. I guess he couldn't be bothered taking a few shots of his own.

That's what he answered to my message too. Indeed, we'll see. And not only is he a lazy bum, he advertises ware that isn't his and hence wanted to sell a different instrument than shown.sam wrote:... and he replied it would be relisted..

BTW, I have the same problem with some of the large box stores using stock pictures of instruments in listings instead of the exact particular instrument being offered. They do not seem to realize their pics set a certain expectation with their customers who in term will be surprised to learn about any differences when they open the case.
