Usually you hear about people changing out the G&L stock pups on ASAT models for more traditional Tele pups. Somewhat to my surprise, here's one in reverse:

Awwwe snap! I saw a decent price on Z-Coils on the G&L website and was thinking "should I build something with these suckers" but it just sounded like a long project. Might still have done it had I not spent all the cash on the custom ASAT. Would have cut the pickguard and done the routing myself though, could've been a hip frankenstein.
