What yr did G&L start putting "Guitars by Leo" on headstocks

My Legacy has been built in June 1994 and there is "Guitars by Leo" on the headstock. My ASAT DeLuxe is from 1996 and it hasn't, the same for my regular ASAT, which has been built just one month before the Legacy.

My L-2000, built in 1997 doesn't have it either.

In regards to an earlier post, the Guitars by Leo decal was used on some of the headstocks as early as 1989-1990. Some serial numbered guitars as low as G026xxx had this decal. Without a doubt it was being used before the passing of Leo Fender.
