Custom Inlays

Post by catawompus »

I have been fond of banjos for a long time. I have a wonderful Deering Golden Aera with RB 6 inlays. I would love to have an Asat with the same kind of inlays. Maybe Craig or somebody else has an idea if G&L would be willing to cut thes inlays for a nice guitar?

It's doubtful that they would do a one off set of inlays. Beside the standard dot fretboard inlays, the only other inlays they do is the Will Ray skull inlays on Will's US Signature model.

However, if you will post a photo showing the inlays you are wanting to be done on an ASAT, I will forward your post to Dave for his comments.

I believe Ron Thorn (Thorninlay@aol.com) does the Hellecaster skull inlays for G&L as well as all the Fender Custom shop inlay work. Perhaps you could contact him about a commissioned job?
