New Guitar Day!

Post by Yamwich »

This was totally worth the wait:

Ordered 12.28.14 and delivered today, 20 weeks later. Got her home and plugged into the Peavey and let it rip a little bit. I'm not a very accomplished player but she plays so easily I think I'll be practicing much more often.

Beautiful !! .... Fallout is still my number 1 .... my Fallout was the quickest delivery I ever received from a new G&L , about 4 days counting the weekend , but was a Detroit series not custom order

I love my Fallout. Perhaps not the most "original" guitar from G&L, but a very playable guitar, with good tones.

That is a nice looking guitar. Patience still has it's virtues I suppose. Nice choice .

Thanks to all for the kind words. The thing that is most amazing to me is just how versatile this guitar is. Each pickup has a distinct voice, then you split the JB for a few more choices, combine them for more, roll off the knobs. Holy crap. This thing is amazing. I'm finding myself sitting on the JB split in combination with the P90. Back in the 90s I had a Blueshawk that had this sort of capability and even though I watched every video and listened to every recording I could find of the Fallout, I wasn't prepared for just how great this guitar sounds. I'm only playing through an '86 Peavey Backstage Plus 30W solid state amp and it still sounds incredible.
