Hi all,
I'm really proud of this, it's the first track I'm releasing. Here's the full-length version
and a shorter "radio edit" (the full track's a bit over seven and a half minutes long)
The bass track was recorded with my Tribute L-2500, which was an absolute joy to use. The guitar tracks were recorded before I traded up to my current Tribute Comanche. I've been using the Comanche for subsequent tracks and it's proved to be really versatile and playable
The release is pretty low key so far, it's just up on my website and Soundcloud, but over the next week or so I plan to get it out on Spotify, iTunes, etc.
Hope you like it!
Cheers
Pat

Hi Patrick
Nice! - listened to both a couple of times and dragged me out of a long period of lurking. Nice melody (i love melody), loved the build and how it fills out, and a slow reverb slightly reminiscent of a Marr piece. If you haven't already I'd load them up on unearthed. Looking forward to more of S.A.N.E as it develops too.
cheers, Robbie

Thanks, Robbie!
Yeah, the plan is to get them up on unearthed this weekend. I had grand plans of getting then release and onto unearthed last weekend, but realised on Saturday that I still had to do the
I'm about 80% finished tracking S.A.N.E; that's going to be a sing trilogy, so it's taking a little while to get the fiddly bits done. Hoping to have that ready for mixing around June or July, but I'll post previews bit by bit.
BTW, where in Perth are you? I'm from WA originally, and my folks are in Bateman
Cheers
