Detroit Muscle Series/ RT Collection

Post by Monahan »

After seeing a few RT guitars through G&L's social media, I ended up with a terrible case of GAS! So I searched the net for photos of basses in the RT series... I only found one-- Panther Pink. That makes me wonder about the popularity of the series-- at least for basses...

Anyway, I came across some killer examples of the RT's that gave me such a bad case of GAS that I sold off my last "Corona-made" guitar to fund the order of a new, Plum Crazy LB-100

I've always loved the old MOPAR colors

It's going to be a very long 4-6 weeks... :roll eyes:

Anyone here want to post photos of your RT guitars/basses? It'll sure help me pass the time 'till mine arrives ;)

Yeah, I think MOPAR had some of the best colors back in the day-- and this is from a Ford guy! :happy0007: Oddly enough some of my favorite cars were MOPAR; the bad guys in Bullet, the General Lee, the Blues-Mobile, Christine... the list goes on :)

The more digging I've done online suggest the RT collection didn't really begin until this past Feb, so I shouldn't be too surprised that finding photos online is difficult. When the SS collection was announced, only the blue stood out to me... and most of those I've found online were the red version. I'll be keeping my eyes on G&L's social media-- after all, I can't be the first person to order a Plum Crazy LB-100... could I...?

3-days closer... and counting Image

Just thought I'd send out another call for your photos of Detroit Muscle Series (SS or RT) guitars/basses.

While I enjoy looking through those posted to social media at the factory, those from owners are much more enjoyable ;)

Anyone...?

Bueller-- Bueller-- Bueller...

Love the Plum Crazy '70 Road Runner. That one yours? I have a Vitamin-C "S-500" coming and I know quite a few others not on this board that have R/t Series guitars. When you get yours, post it up!

The Road Runner mine? Boy I wish! No, my wife showed me that photo when I was trying to decide between Panther Pink and Plum Crazy. That photo clinched it for me.

Vitamin-C S-500 eh? SWEET! How long has it been on order?

I'll post photos here the day she arrives :D I'm sure someone will be searching the net for photos to help them decide which color to choose... ;)
