Hello hello

Post by Iplaythere4Iam »

Hi My name is Steve. I live in Atlanta GA and New to G&L. I have been playing about 3 years and own a Martian grand performer, Epiphone Casino and now a ASAT Classic Tribute in Red. I hope that I am allowed to discuss my tribute on this board without getting flamed for not having an American model yet. I bought my guitar used and knew it was a perfect fit from strum 1. It sounds incredible. I hope to get some solid knowledge from this board to help further my G&L collection.

Thanks, I did not think 200$ for a Classic Tribute was a bad deal.

Welcome! You'll find a lot of love for Tributes here. The couple I've tried had excellent build quality, and one L-2000 in particular blew me away. The only thing that has kept me away from them is a preference for early G&Ls. They have an entirely different vibe, even compared to current US models.

nice deal on the trib asat classic! that's alot of guitar for the bucks.
there are many things i love about my tele, but the sounds i've been getting from the asat special are really worth exploring. the mfd p'ups are quite unique. the 2 guitars are as different as they are similar.

Hi Steve,

The only "crap" you are likely to get for playing a Tribute is: "Having tasted the magic, you will want to get a USA model because (fill in the space)"

Welcome to our insanity.
