Screws near bridge?

Post by Iplaythere4Iam »

I have a new used ASAT classic tribute and wondering if someone can tell me what the heck these screws are to the left and right of my bridge. They are at three and nine o'clock. one is off the bridge to the left and one is touching it on the right. I have looked at other similar models and do not see them. Thanks for Any info you can provide.

It looks like part of the ashtray around the bridge has been cut out. I would guess maybe a pickup was held down by the screws, perhaps a hex PU for a synth?
