"The FedEx man is here..." -- "The FedEx man is here..."
Weeeeeeeeeeee...
...one of the biggest funnest things ever is having FedEx drop off a brand new, custom-ordered G&L.
Its so new, I haven't even taken pictures yet. You folks are actually some of the first to even hear the news
So... "wha-did-ya-get...wha-did-ya-get???"
G&L Legacy HB
Antique white
Alder body
Clear gloss #3 wide "C" maple/maple neck (nut width 1-11/16")
Mint PG
White knobs & pups
REVERSE headstock
HARDTAIL (G&L Saddle Lock fixed bridge)
Tone = for days
Sustain = for weeks (no back route for a trem and it sssssssustianssssssss like crazy with all that extra wood)
Blues = burns it down like a forest fire of Alder trees...
Mojo = Leo visited this one from the grave !!!
Pics to follow... (give you a few minutes to lather up some frothy drool...hahahah)

Hardtail, eh?
I've always wanted to play a hardtail skyhawk or legacy to hear the difference.
Yes, some pics please!

love the hardtail HB !! ...... the color combo , everything looks great , I couldn't have picked that out myself better than you did !! .... If I could only have a do-over , quite a few of my DF guitars would be hardtail and the wide C ...... I have a feeling a new Fallout hardtail with a #3 wide C might find a new home here if I could ever narrow down the color combo

Hey,
Nice guitar Sir. I have one pretty much like that and it is a joy to play. The #3 neck teamed up with a slb is a nice combo. I agree with your feelings about sustain, tone and mojo. The guitar can sing with the best of them and the #3 neck offers a roomy feel that needs to be experienced.
I have blocked the trem on a sc-3 and you get many of the same benefits from a slb. A very solid feel, more sustain and a nice articulation from one string to another. Enjoy that beautiful guitar and turn up the amp so I can hear you here in Chicago.

I'm with everybody else, the Saddle-Lock Bridge and thick neck combo is the best, ever. Nice!
