Hi,
I have a 1992 Legacy which currently has Fender American standard pickups in the neck and middle positions (it has a DiMarzio humbucker in the bridge). I am not unhappy with the Fenders, but I have been thinking about trying MFDs in this guitar - I also have a 2011 Legacy with the stock pickups. Would the pickups sold in the G&L store as S-500 MFDs fit without significant modification? Anyone have any thoughts on how well the MFD might blend with the humbucker in the bridge?
Another option would be to put some modern G&L Alnicos in (I like the Alnicos in my other Legacy more than I like the Fenders) - I was thinking of the MFDs as providing some variation.
Thanks
Ken
Will S-500 MFDs fit into a 1992 Legacy?

Hi Ken,
They should fit. Supposed to be the same sizes as a standard Fender Strat pup.

Thanks! I haven't decided to go forward yet - but it's nice to know that they will fit.
