Just wanted to say hello.

Hi everyone. I bought my first G&L about two weeks ago. Its a honey-burst Legacy and its sweet. (I'll post a pic in the appropriate section.) I've been playing for decades, but until about two years ago, I played acoustic almost exclusively, until I woke one morning in some mid-life crisis and decided I wanted to be Freddie King. I bought a Guild Starfire IV and a Swart amp and have been working on electric blues a couple hours a day since. I'm still not good, but I think I've moved beyond sucking now. I love 335 types, but s types have that sound I just couldn't get with the Starfire, so I added a Legacy and I'm having a blast with it. I think I first heard about G&L's in the Let's Talk Guild Forum. I'm kind of turned off by the more corporate brands and gravitate to the smaller companies (my other guitars are Guilds and I expect to pick up a Heritage H157 soon), so G&L was a natural fit for me. I've got a few questions for everyone, but I imagine the introduction page isn't the place for them, so I'll look around a bit and post them in the discussions section. Anyway, I'm glad I found your home. Thanks for having me over.
