I just introduced myself in the "introduce yourself" section and thought I'd introduce my new guitar. Its my first G&L, and my first single-coil for that matter. I got two weeks ago and we bonded almost immediately. It plays great, sounds great, and I think its beautiful.

beautiful, thats a really nice one.
Cant tell by the pic, but is it a honey burst? Looks like a very slight burst on the outside of the body.
VERY NICE!

Re: My first G&L
It is a honey burst, and your right, the burst is very slight. There is a G&L dealer near me. He had Good selection, but I thought I wanted a two tone burst which was ordered but hadn't arrived. I was waiting for it when he got the honey burst in. I'm a sucker for a pretty face, and I loved the grain on it. I thought I might A/B it against the two tone burst, but I liked it too much to risk having it get sold while I was waiting for the two tone, so I just bought it. I'm glad I did.astutzmann wrote:beautiful, thats a really nice one.

Sometimes you can tell a guitar is a good one just by the photo, and this is one of those. Lovely guitar, mirepoix, and welcome to the club.
