G&L ASAT Classic S custom factory wiring?

Post by zonkola »

I’m interested in ordering a G&L ASAT Classic S, but with a different wiring scheme. What I have in mind is this:

Bridge | Bridge & Middle | Bridge & Neck | Middle & Neck | Neck

I don’t really care about the middle pickup alone or all three on at once. One or both of those options could be mapped to the push/pull switch or the switch could be eliminated entirely. Does the factory do this sort of thing?

I am not aware of the factory doing custom wirings but you might ask your G&L dealer to contact the factory and see if it's possible.

Let us know what you find out.

An alternative would be to have a guitar tech rewire the stock wiring to your preference.
See this for the stock wiring: Album: ASAT Classic S Wiring Diagram and Picture Diagrams.
