Belair green - need pickguard options/pics please
Anyone have some shots of Belair green with cream, mint or parchment pickguards? Any axe will do. Just thinking of a new pickguard for my Belair LB-100 and trying to get a feel for what I think might look best. I've got an aged pearl guard on it now, and I just feel like it's too busy with the bright hue of the green. I played around on the AGB builder page, but the guards on the site don’t seem too accurate, particularly the mint. I want some real world examples. Thanks.

Thanks. I did google the color, but it's hard to tell exactly what's cream vs. mint - or rather, most seem like cream to me, and the few pages I've linked to indicate that they're cream. What about mint?

True, it's hard to be sure if they're cream/white/mint sometimes.
I'd say this is cream: http://tinyurl.com/lzqkvgz
Here is white: http://www.upfrontguitars.com/images/D/BB-p90-full.jpg
here is mint: http://tinyurl.com/k9omh2o
I think G&L makes the 'best' shade of belair green and mint looks awesome on it.
(my opinion is worth what you paid for it)

Ok, cool, thanks a lot. Cream looks good. White is too stark for my taste. And that mint example ASAT is dead sexy.

My Belair Green Legacy and S-500 match, with RW boards and Pearland guards.
One sleeper pickguard color for these is actually tortoise. Looks cooler than I thought it would.

Tort did cross my mind... I have an extra tort guard for another bass that I've left up against the green for a while to see how it looks... It's grown on me. Problem is, cheap tort looks, well, cheap. I'm thinking I'll cut the guard myself (both to save money and because I like projects), and, since I've never cut a guard before, I don't want to learn on an expensive piece of tort, lest I should botch it.
