hey Jack , when did Duncan get a ASAT and how does he like compared to the Legacy ??..... nice clip

Thanks for your kind words.

Duncan had 2 Legacies for a time. About a year ago, he got the following:

ASAT Classic 'S' Alnico Launch Edition with a maple neck. He favored the ASAT over the Legacy for most songs, the exception being that he favored the Legacy for getting that SRV sound.

Last spring he spotted the guitar pictured at our guitar store. It has the standard ASAT pickups, rosewood neck and is semi-holllow, so it's a little brighter sound. We traded his black Legacy for it. This has become his go-to guitar. We had a luthier give it a major make over and it's even better now. So, overall, he plays ASATs about 90% of the time when he's playing blues.

As a side note, Duncan is now playing more rock and roll for his new album and uses his PRS Mira with Starla pickups as his humbucker guitar.

What "major make over" was done?

The frets were lowered a great deal. The neck is now adjustable through the cover. A football jack was installed.
