Yowhat- Thanks for the welcome! I love this state. Moved back after a decade of bouncing around. Can no longer imagine being anywhere else. Quite the collection you've amassed, I was wide eyed looking through them all!

Fumble- I'm quite happy this far. The black is growing on me. Might have to swap out the stock perloid guard for something a bit more subdued. Sounds great! Only limited by my poor playing.

I was very happy when you said you might have to change the pickguard. I was about to question that. White, black, white is the coolest looking and pretty standard, but black,white, black now that's a whole new personally. Welcome aboard.

I love the Pacific Northwest, I lived in Portland for a couple of years and have fond memories of hiking around near Mt St Helens and Mt Ranier (do you have a favourite huckleberry patch nearby?)

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. It's nice to see a contingent from Cascadia on the board.

The pearl guard is growing on me a bit. Might pick up a b/w/b or parchment guard in the future but as of right now I'll stick with stock.

I'm really pleased with the guitar itself. Resonates beautifully when unplugged and sounds great with electricity running through it.

Picked us some nickel strings and with the vintage voiced flat pole pickups it's sounding really great.
