ASAT Classic Tribute question newby here

Post by oooogie »

Just purchased a 2004 ASAT classic tribute and I have some questions about making some upgrades to the stock components.
Are the American volume and tone pots and pu selector interchangeable with the tribute parts?
The pups are awesome but the pots are a little bit scratchy. The pick up selector is okay but If it can be switched out for the American version I might as well do it while I'm in there.
Any input on bridge replacements? Thanks.

See this post for one update solution: Tribute Asat Classic h/w upgrade.

Hope this helps.

Love to post some photos Craig but that process is way over my head. I do have the pics in a dropbox account but can't figure out how to post them here. Very confused. Sorry.

I assume you are referring to the Tutorial on posting photos, right?

The problem with using dropbox is that it is not a photo sharing service. You cannot get the link to the actual photo from it. If you don't want
to use a free service like photobucket, why not try using our Registered User's Gallery? The tutorial walks you thru the steps along with examples.
I would be glad to help you if you'd like.

Craig, I'm registered in the gallery but still having trouble uploading my pics. Yeah I'm ancient and to make matters worse I'm dealing with a Mac Pro for the first time so there's that.

Back at it this morning. I got a photobucket account set up and loaded the pics into it. When I copy the url of and individual pic and paste into this box the url shows up but when I preview there's no pic just the url up top.

I just copy the url from photo bucket and then paste it on here after I'm done typing and don't do anything else , it always shows up ..... But ...... if I want to post a picture from the porn to here you have to insert it between the image thingy

You need to put the photo url between the Img BBcode. Like this:

Code: Select all

Here's your image:

Hope this helps.
