Hello from Central Indiana!

Post by indylarry »

I found the forum while trying to find the answer to a question about one of my guitars. I found the knowledge I was searching for. Thanks for having such an informative site.

I am currently infatuated with G & L guitars. I bought my first one in May of this year. It is a Tribute ASAT Deluxe II, a great guitar and a great value. This guitar helped nudge me into learning some jazz. Great guitar for that. The neck pickup is very warm and mellow. I love it.

My second was a Tribute Superhawk in Ivory. Another great guitar. The neck was a mind blower. I never played a neck like that before. Also, the pickups...I thought I would change them out once it came but they are great. I really like them and that todo has fallen way down the list.

My most recent purchase was a USA ASAT Deluxe in honeyburst with the #3 neck, rosewood fingerboard, graphtech nut, and locking tuners. Amazing!

I am already planning out another USA ASAT or S-500 or Legacy....ah! There are too many good guitars.

lol.... you got the right place !! ...... hard to have just one ...... let me help you pick a couple out  ASAT Special and ASAT Classic should be two "must have" guitars along with the S500 ..... maybe throw a WR signature ASAT or a Comanche for some Z Coil's , toss in a Legacy HB with saddle lock , a Legacy with DF and maybe a Fallout and SC2 because they are light , comfy and fun to play ....... and when you get all these move on to Leo era 1991 and older

welcome to club G&L :greet:

Thanks guys! My current challenge is trying to find time to play. I seem to be spending a lot of time trying to pick my next G&L. :D

Welcome to the forum Larry. You've got quite a collection of G&L's started already. I second the vote for an ASAT Classic. I love mine!
