Welcome to the forum. The Nighthawk is a rarebird model, with 269 built according to the production log. It is actually the same as the more common Skyhawk; the name was changed early in the model's production run because of a trademark problem. The Cavalier isn't a rarebird (meaning more than 400 were built), but it is far from common on the used guitar market.
I don't know about your specific instruments, but in general I'd expect to see Nighthawks sell in the $600-$900 range, and Cavaliers to go anywhere from $750 to over $1000. That's just a ballpark guess from my own experience.

Thank you.
I have not seen any of the cavaliers with gold anywhere..
Both came with ohsc.
They are in exzactly same cond as brads photos.
I'm so curious how they made it to wyoming and if anyone famous might have played them?
The cav has heavy pickgaurd scratches but is very clean.
I have changed strings out on it and might take it to have a luthier go over them both.

I am abeginner but after owning maybe 50 guitars now I can deffo tell the diff in quality
I have owned the les pauls and gretsch and even made in USA fender strats /teles and there is absolutely no comparison? why wouldn't g&l be much bigger in the guitar world?
I am astounded at the sound these have and the tonial qualities are out of this world .seriously!
I am done dumping thousands out on Gibson for sure!
I did off a 54 goldtop and it was a mistake as a collector as it will just go up in value,it sounded like he*(
lol

Nice scores! BTW, instructions on how to post pics of them on this foam can be found here.
Gold was an available upgrade for many, many years. G&L discontinued the option around 2004 when gold prices became so volatile and/or high it was impossible for them to include a consistent quote in their price list. There are a sufficient number of gold hardware G&L's out there; 8 of the 86 G&L's I currently own have gold hardware. But is sure is a nice to have!
And why isn't G&L a bigger name? I can throw in some hypotheses, but will be hard pressed to unequivocally proof any them. Guess your in on our little secret now.

I am deffinetely in.
Looking at a newer fallout today.
I'm not convinced by owner that it is going to sound like an eighties instrument
