Hi everbody,
I am about to become a happy (hopefully) G&L Tribute Asat Classic Bluesboy in two weeks for my 40th anniversary. I am kind of a newbie in the guitar world. I have been playing for about 4 years on an entry level folk guitar (Cort).
After a lot of reading and several sessions in my favorite guitar shop which has recently become a G&L reseller (France is so far...), I've finally chosen the Classic Bluesboy telecaster (in spite of the pickguard that I don't really like), with a Hughes & Kettner tubemeister 5 combo amp. Best tested combination to my ears !
I am now ready to get electrical shocks !!

I quite sure you will be happy with your Tribute AC Bluesboy.
Happy 40th! (Oh, to be 25 years younger, again )
Once you recieve your guitar, please to post a photo or two and don't forget to add it to our G&L Registry.

Re: Hi from France
Thank you !
I will be glad to post pictures, but I'll wait for the pickguard replacement by the one ordered on the G&L online store. Unfortunately, I have no information on the processing of my order. I hope the store is reliable and that I will receive it.

Re: Hi from France
bienvenue ainsi que joyeux anniversaire.
de quel coin de la France viens-tu?
Bien choisi avec une G&L, dommage qu'il n'y a pas enormement de 'dealers' en France comme en Italie...
`a tres bientot.

To gvitale. Merci.
To darwinohm. I don't have received it yet, but I'll post ASAP.

Re: Hi from France
Bienvenue (that's about the extent of my French, sorry)!
I hope you like the Tribute Bluesboy. When I was choosing my G&L it came down to the Tribute Bluesboy and the Tribute Comanche. I went with the Comanche, but it was a tough choice, the Bluesboy has its own little "something special" going on
Pat
P.S. Photos!
