Stock USA legacy string gauge

Post by jwebsmall »

What gauge of strings are shipped on a stock USA Legacy?

I'm trying to figure out what the bone nut was cut for.

Thanks.

Thank you.

The guitar shipped in 1999 and I thought they might be 9-42 and you confirmed it.

You could also check the Knowledgebase, for example this post: What gauge & brand of strings does G&L use on their guitars? ;)

Hope this helps,

Thanks Craig.

I'm in love with this 1999 USA Legacy. Once in a blue moon you come across
a real gem oozing mojo. This particular guitar has the right stuff.
