NGD G&L Fallout

Post by BlueMustang »

Hi all,

I've been following these forums for a while now, but I have recently bought my first USA G&L after owning a Tribute Series Fallout and L-2000 bass for a while and thought what better time to post! :) I love my Himalayan Blue G&L Fallout, it just sounds and feels great!

Thanks! While the Tribute Fallout is a great guitar in its own right, the US Fallout just feels a bit better in every department, I would say that to my ears at least the Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge of the US Fallout seems to have a bit more bite to it than the G&L humbucker in the bridge of the Tribute Fallout but both guitars are very well balanced pickup-wise. The neck on the US Fallout feels a little more rounded in my hands than the Tribute model that feels a little flatter.

I've never bonded much with the Fallout in terms of body shaping but your guitar is a looker, that maple/black/blue combination is stunning.

The Fallout is so light , comfy and well balanced if you play one a couple three hours gigging (standing up) you'll love it and might even become your favorite G&L ..... extremely well balanced for how light it is , the SC 2 is slightly neck heavy because of the BIG head stock but the Fallout don't have that problem , wonderful playing guitars
