Hey all, first post here. I just got a Fallout Tribute as a trade for a Jazzmaster. Wasn't expecting much, and I'm pretty blown away so far! Can't see this being any good for my GAS...

Nice! Love orange, I have a candy tangerine Strat. If I really bond with the Tribute I may spring for a US made version...we'll see. I'm curious about the Gagon pickups. Do you know where I can find more info and specs on these?

I like the Gagon Humbucker better than the SD's that are in my ASAT Deluxe , matter of fact I installed a set of Gagonator's in my Deluxe just recently

Sharp looking axe. How do you like the JB in the bridge? The Gagon humbucker was a revelation to me. I'm really surprised by the quality of the sound, especially at this price point. Big, sweet, and it splits really well too! I assumed I'd want to replace it right off the bat, but I'm loving it so far. It looks like there are a few different bucker designs from him though. Looking through the specs of the Tributes, there seems to be three or four different model numbers. Trainspotter question, but I'm wandering what the specs are: how hot they're wound, what kind of magnets they're using, etc...

SD is really bright by it self so it's hard to use unless the tone is rolled back a bunch , I use it mainly on our heavy distortion songs , other wise it's P90 all the way ..... your Gagon bridge is from the G&L Fiorona model , the Gagons I installed in my Deluxe were from a Ascari they are wound slightly different , I think the Ascari's are more LP'ish witch is what I was after on my Deluxe , I doubt the SD's are as nice as your Gagon's

Welcome! I haven't tried a Fallout yet, but the rave reviews keep pushing me closer.

Can't see this being any good for my GAS...

Start clearing out space or making whatever other arrangements you need to get ready for your next G&L. They tend to multiply!

Thanks Craig, that's exactly what I was looking for. I gigged with it today, and it sounded great! Love the placement of the controls too. They fall easily to hand, making on the fly adjustments a breeze. I have a bunch of electrics. The Fallout is the cheapest of them, but with the coil-tap it's easily the most versatile sounding guitar I own. Killer, killer value. Ken, you're right - I'm already gassing for a U.S made version...
