The weekends are sometimes slow around here, (gigging, family, etc.)

I wouldn't be so quick to say your not welcome , not like that at all .
It's not a high traffic site ( which is can be nice ), so try to keep that in mind .

Welcome!!!

+1 on Elwood's post.

I, myself, have been away from the site since Saturday morning (right before you posted your first post) and just recently returned, so I was gone
one day and a half and this is my first opportunity to welcome you here. Welcome! :greet:

I did repaint the pick guard black satin, it give it a darker side, :alright:

Right now i am building myself a Telecaster, with a reversed strato headstock (hendrix style) and putting a MFD single coil of a bluesboy on it ( i love the tone). with a 59 humbucker, seymour duncan.
oh yea with a sparkle silver body with black racing stripe and number. i wish G&L could paint it for me  should be really different and cool.

That's rare. Usually people using Macs are saying how easy it is to do things. Posting pictures on a forum is not any different for other platforms though.

There are a lot of members here but there are not that many who are constantly active. As mentioned, weekend activity might only be the tumble weeds crossing the street, (chances are you will see a Fumble around though).

Speaking for myself, I do not feel like I am someone in a position to welcome people to this forum. I am too new. I may have accumulated around 500 posts at the time of this message but I only joined a short time ago. If I see a subject or picture I am particularly attuned to I may comment. But if I don't have that to comment on I do not jump in to say "welcome." At least I don't think I have ever done that yet. But sometimes I post using the Active Posts list going by thread title and do not pay attention to the sub-forum I am entering so I may have posted in the Introductions section several times.

Now, that is a classy looking ASAT. I am fond of the single layer black matte pickguards which do not have a white layer creating an outline around the form. Sometimes it really sets off what is going on with the body. It is the open sky that allows you to appreciate the clouds as opposed to an overcast cloud layer. Some pickguards invite attention. A black matte invites you to look at it but frees you up to notice everything surrounding it peripherally, being matte it enhances gloss by its presence.

I prefer maple necks for playing and often for their appearance. IMO the maple makes that body finish on your guitar look even better. That is a very good looking burst.
