A couple pics of my g&l's
Hey, I just registered on the board so I thought I would post a couple of pics of my guitars:
The first one is from G&L's Facebook page. I ordered it in July from a local G&L dealer and it looks like they completed it last Tuesday. I'm estimating that it will take about a week to get here given that it has to go through Canada Customs, so I should have it in the next few days (assuming G&L uses UPS....if not then who knows when it will get here). I ordered it with a 1b neck, which I'm hoping is the closest modern one to my 1994 neck (it's very thin).
The second pic is my 1994 Emerald Blue Legacy that I bought new in that year. It has been my main guitar since then. I've owned several vintage guitars, Fender Custom Shop starts, etc., and they've all come and gone....but this guitar isn't going anywhere. The pickup covers and knobs have turned mint now from years of use, and the neck has gone from satin to almost a gloss. It's going to need a refret very soon as well.
These are my only 2 guitars now, and I think in the future I may look to add an ASAT deluxe, but other than that I'm pretty minimalistic. Although, that may change!
Hope you like the pics!

Haha...well that's probably because I was only 14 in 1994. I played that G&L all through high school and then later on I decided that since I had a G&L, I would try some other guitars. I bought and sold quite a few (including a 1966 Fender Custom Shop reissue that I wish I had kept...c'est la vie) but nothing beats G&L that I've played, so I'll stick with them from now on

That shoreline looks great! Like I said in the introduction section... I can't wait to see her in person!

Those are some good lookin' fiddles man. G&L posted a pic of my Comanche on their Facebook before it arrived too, it's always cool to see it right there being born.
If you decide to have an ASAT built and want it a little faster, the guys at Musicstorelive did a great job for me, less than six weeks from me placing the order to my doorstep.

Thanks! Yeah I've heard they can get orders in faster than other dealers. I'll keep that in mind if I decide to get an ASAT. I also like to support local businesses too though...so I guess I'll have to see how quickly I need it built when the time comes.
Glad your guitar turned out well.
