Hi Could Someone Help? G&L ASAT

Hi, We have recently just found a Guitar in our Loft which was left to us by a family member years ago, We live in the UK and understand it was made in California, we don't know anything about guitars and thought we would ask for some help in identifying it? any help would be appreciated. We have taken some photos but are unsure how to post them on here DSC00392.JPG
