Been busy with a couple T style

Post by Fumble fingers »

had my ASAT's out for a photo shoot ...... My ASAT Deluxe I had the dealer replace the JB's with some Paul Gagon buckers out of a Ascari thanks to Jos for the tip and link for the pick ups ..... Love the look much better and I like the sound better too .... it was a win win

Had my Broadcaster refretted and it's my favorite of all G&L's now .... had some medium jumbos installed and it turned out beautiful ..... I had thought about selling it and getting something else to refret but the frets were the only thing holding me back from lovin it so I had it done ..... I'm playing this one along with my Fallout at some gigs

Nice collection! That Broadcaster is just beautiful! So nice to hear that it's actually being gigged. I bet so many of them never get out.

it would have been easy to keep it as a case queen since it was a mint Broadcaster ( that's what made it hard to pull the trigger on the refret ), but I'm not a good case collector , it has to be played or I don't want it ..... thought of selling it but I really like it , just the low wide frets suck for me .... I figured Leo would want it played ..... I will be real careful where I take it , but it will be taken , love the saddle lock guitars for the music our band plays , between this and the Fallout I should have it covered

Nice group there Fumble  I'm partial to the Broadcasters with maple neck too.

The Paul Gagon buckers get great reviews all around. I like the neck bucker in the Tribby ASAT Bluesboy, could be doing something with one of those soon...

Always love seeing yer Buck Owens gitars.

Broadcaster played in it's first gig !!.... in it's life I'm thinking , the musician's from the first band that played were all over both my G&L's (Broadcaster and Fallout)... definetly got some compliments on the Bcaster ...... I used the Broadcaster on our clean songs (heavy metal band so we don't play very many) and the Fallout for the heavy stuff ..... The gig went good with no major issue's other than monitor problems that had nothing to do with the guitars ......
