Hi, ASAT,no G040378,how old?

Been Gigging a G&L for quite a few years,just acquired a back-up ASAT,cherry sunburst/maple neck model.Serial no G040378.Anyone give me a rough year of manufacture?

I'd guess mid-90's.
The serial's weren't strictly sequential back then...but usually good for a ball park date.
(the date stamps are in the neck pocket ).
You could scan the registry for entries in a certain number range to see what other dates
are there, that can be helpful sometimes.

Hi,thanks for the info,it's pretty much what I thought.My other G&L is an ASAT Classic in Candy Apple Red,matching headstock with Pearl plate.S/No is CLF39058. This is the most reliable guitar I've ever owned in over 40 years of playing!
