Hey,
My names James, and I'm addicted to gear.
I'm 27, live in the hot Arizona desert, play bass and guitar, though I don't play either very well. I'm into mostly heavy older music, Sabbath, Priest, and of course the mighty Metallica. I also play a lot of online video games and whatnot. Love competiton so mostly shooters and stuff. World of tanks is the main on at the moment.
As if I needed another guitar, I got a hold of the boys at musicstorelive and ordered up a Comanche built to my specs. This will be both my first G&L and my first custom built guitar. Though I'm very excited, it apparently isn't enough to quench my insatiable thirst for new Guitfiddles as I have to overwhelming feeling that I need to order custom speced ASAT around the first of the year.
Anyway, there is a little introduction to all that is me, I'll be reading through the forums seeing what you hardcore guys think about different models and what not.
Also, as soon as the new Comanche arrives I'll post up some pics.
Metal out!
New G&L dude.

Welcome! I;m sure you'll end up with the ASAT, and then some more after that. It's hard to stop at one or two G&Ls!

Re: New G&L dude.
There will be pics for sure.
Man, when I ordered it, I thought 4-6 weeks, that's not that bad.
My god was I wrong, it's only been a week! 3-5 more of these just might kill me.
This online G&L builder has helped pass some time, but also left me convinced come the first of they year, I may need to make my next order an F-100 with a good old quilty top. I can't decide what color for the life of me, but I'm sure It will change 20 times in between now and the time I would order such a beast.
Anyway, thanks for the warm welcome guys!

Re: New G&L dude.
if you like F100's then check out the link to LE 2 in JagInTheBag's signature as it uses a F100 bridge pu , it was designed on this forum and there only making 25 with only 9 available before it's all done .... anyway you still have a chance to "get in on " a 1 of 25 guitars made , a nice little special limited edition G&L that's currently available .... of course I hate to push your gas over the top but you can view these instruments over in the Porn section
