Australian G&L L-2000 owner here! Just saying hi!

Post by moltensnake »

Hi everybody :).

I bought my L2000 in February 2013 via Bass Central in FL. Funny story. I'm actually based in Melbourne, Australia and flew all the way there to pick up my bass guitar. The "discount" obtained by purchasing it in the U.S practically offset my flight cost haha!

This guitar is such a beauty. Best instrument I've played and owned thus far(This includes Ibanez as well as Schecter basses).

Looking forward to posting more on the forum in the future hopefully :).

Hey there!

Welcome to the forum and good story. Wish I could buy any and all of my guitars that way ;)

There are plenty of low-enders roaming around on this forum but I just want to bring to your attention a separate G&L basses forum also exists.

Have fun plucking that beauty.

Welcome!

I can sort of see your bass in your Avatar, but we all like to see larger photos of mentioned G&L instruments members have. So, please
see the Tutorial: Posting photos for details on posting them. Also, please do add your L-2000 to our G&L Registry, too.

Thanks.

Hey moltensnake! My wife and I went to Australia last June and loved every place we visited (Sydney, Cairns, & Darwin). It was her 4th or 5th time there and my 1st. I definitely want to go back and see more of your country.

G&L absolutely blows Schecter and Ibanez out of the water IMHO. I had a L-2000 bass that I wish I hadn't sold (but was broke & frustrated at the time) and just bought a Legacy Deluxe (guitar) and joined the forum this week.

Enjoy!!
