I bought a G&L Comanche recently, and I just noticed that the Z-Coil pickups seem to be somewhat loose - If rocked up & down, they have a fair amount of movement. I could see how there might be a bit of looseness, given the shape of the pickups and how they're screwed in to the pickguard, but I'm wondering if this is normal? Here's a link to a short video showing the looseness:

Re: Z-Coil pickups loose (Comanche guitar)
Your pickups might be hanging kinda low. You could raise them closer to the strings. That would tighten the springs up some.
The only other solution is to take them out and put 2 springs per side instead of 1.
The looseness isn't really a problem though from my perspective.

That's exactly how my Comanche is. They're loose and wobbly, but stable, if that makes sense...
If you lower the pickups, they bite in a bit more and become more stable, but when you raise then, they are wobbly again.
Technical terms..
