What is the name of the finish? Looks like what is called Silverburst on a Gibson but I didn't see anything like it on the G&L finish option page. The bound ebony neck looks very shreddy. Quite a serious looking guitar.
Is the lighter guitar a transparent blonde with ebony neck?

Estock, that is just crazy cool! all appointments match that color well. I love triple binding but that color, clean neck and reverse headstock take it to another level.
Thanks for sharing and tell us more how she sounds.

The white guitar pales in comparison.
That burst is just a beautiful guitar. You did a great job picking your options. Very classy!

Salmon - It is indeed silverburst. In regards to the other one, it's just their standard white, not transparent. The lighting in my living room isn't the hottest. The board is ebony as well.
Sam - It sounds great. The ash gives it a really tight bottom with a smooth midrange. Plus, the top end is snappy and detailed without being so bright it makes your teeth hurt. That's one of the ingest reasons I love G&L stuff. I just put a Seymour Duncan hot rail in the bridge and it's a great match with the stock neck pickup, which I love dearly.
Thanks for all the kind words, gents!

Estock, she is sweet no doubt! Love the one-of-a-kind creations each of us can make with G&L. Glad to see another Midwesterner on the board as well. Cheers from Gurnee, IL!

I like it!
After seeing this, I emailed Dave McLaren and asked if this is a new finish or a custom one off. He replied:
Thanks.

Can you give us details about this one? Your request or the dealer's special order?Hi Craig,
I think I saw a headstock with that finish, but I've no idea other than it's unofficial. Somebody knew somebody and it happened.
Thanks, Craig.

Thanks.
