where is the Guitar builder link hiding out these days ?

The place to discuss, post photos, video, and audio of the G&L products (US instruments, stomp boxes, etc.) produced after 1991, including the amps & gear we use with them.

While it is still running how about making the builder a button in the forum's menu bar until it is gone? A menu bar that is always present.

A sticky would get overlooked.

Make it orange instead of green too.

Eric, done!
Salmon, done as far as color is concerned in the post. To make it a button, we'll need Craig. Instead of, or in addition to, it would also be nice to add it to the Links page or as a top link in the Knowledgebase.

Here's a better link (because it includes both Guitars and Basses): AGB Guitar Generator.

I know Dave had been looking at this tool and wants some changes made to it before making it generally available on the G&L websites.
Because the AGB builder is not dealer neutral, I will not put it in the Links page nor add a main menu button on the GbL.

You can always bookmark this post. [either from your browser or in your User Control Panel]. ;)

Hope this helps.

AGB is out of business so technically the text just needs to be revised to say general street price rather than specifying AGB's price.

There are more corrections and updates that need to be done. It's also my understanding that AGB had just gone to Internet only not completely out of business. Perhaps Darwin
can confirm this as being the case. Darwin?

Ahh you are correct. The last time I checked their webpage was nothing but an inventory liquidation announcement.

I see that they have recently updated the website however it now looks generic. The merchandise is sold from Reverb. The guitar builder is nothing but a text link.

Well, you could try the link I posted above.

Yeah I wasn't continuing to make a case about the link here, just acknowledging that they are still in business and what I observed about the way it looks.

(FWIW that edit notation was only me changing a couple of words and sentences around).
