ResoASAT

Post by guitar_ed »

Hi All,

I am starting another WTH? project. You can find it here: http://stormriders.com/ResoASAT.html

It won't look as good as a National, but I can always build another one with a better body & reuse the parts

Hi All,

I got it to depth, and I put it together, less the electronics :)

It works, and it sounds decent as an acoustic. Nothing like a brass bodied National, but not bad either.

That's a really cool lookin' axe!
Wicked even with the chrome and black.

I imagine different kinds of strings will bring different flavors down the road.
That's going to be fun to play once you dial it in and get used to a G&L sounding, well,
not so G&L .
I like it

It's done, for now. No piezo pup. Turns out that they are a PITA to integrate with a magnetic pup. So, for now..... It's just the ASAT Special pup, which is actually quite nice.

See the link in my other posts.
