As our good friend Greg GG Jaguar would say, "Never enough ASAT's"!
After the St Patty's day post of my green ASAT Deluxe I found this one online at GC used and she arrived today. A 1995 three bolt version that is about 7 1/2 lbs, like new and the grain is pretty good.
Since I have a few regular ASAT's already, I may get into my drawer o' stuff and rewind a big MFD to RWRP and turn her into a ASAT S3 and add expander, hence the ASAT 3 pickguard in want ads.
She does have a lot of snap and feels great in my hands, who knows, she may just be the single coil older brother to my 1998 ASAT Deluxe.

Thanks Ken. pics have a little glare, tried to be artistic and get contrast against what "should be" green grass, weeds in my case.

Very nice Sam. It is especially sweet when you can find an older one in such good condition. The wood grain is great! -- Darwin

Congratulations Sam. A very nice ASAT indeed. I hope to have one myself one day.

At the request of fianoman here are the two green ASAT's that help make all kinds of racket for me!
1995 ASAT and a 1998 ASAT Deluxe, could use a better "promo shot" but this will do for now

Que the Turtles - "so happy together....."
After your mods, those two bad boys should cover a lot of sonic territory. The dynamic duo - or I guess it would be the Green Hornet and Kato.

I am not a pearloid pick guard fan, however it seems to work with green. I really like ASAT specials though so I would let it slide anyway. Nice guitar !
