Regarding the tuners, we use Schallers and Sperzel, locking and unlocking versions of both.
Although both have one anchor pin, the Sperzel is set further from the center than the Schaller, thus they are drilled differently. You would not be able to swap between the two.
Schaller has the “G&L” logo. Sperzel has their logo stamped in script.
Neither of the locking versions have the “G&L” logo.

It turns out we did run a few instruments (no more than 10) a few months ago
with some Gotoh Tuners. Our shipments from both Schaller and Sperzel were
delayed and we did have inventory of some Gotoh keys. So yes, there are a
small number of recently made US G&L Guitars out there with Gotoh keys.
Thanks

These are current equipment on all USA G&L guitars. They will replace older G&L tuners that use a single pin on the backside.
These will NOT replace Sperzel brand tuners. Sold in sets only, chrome, right handed.
These are NOT drop-in replacements for Tribute guitar models however they can be made to work if a new locator pin is drilled.

A nice and simple upgrade to your guitar especially models with a Dual Fulcrum Trem. These will NOT replace Sperzel brand locking tuners. Sold in sets only, chrome, right handed.

Since Espada development goes back to the late 1960s, these Kluson tuners bring in the period vibe so nicely.
They feel damn good too. Or maybe it’s in my head. Doesn’t matter. Johnny and I just knew we wanted Klusons on Espada,
zero debate about it.
