My ASAT Classic.

Post by Case24 »

Here are some pictures of my 2004 ASAT Classic I picked up a few weeks ago. It's black painted alder with wood binding, a Vintage Gloss Tint 12" radius neck, Schaller locking tuners and strap locks. It has the OHSC and hang tags. Guitar appears to have had very little use. :D

Thanks! I couldn't belive the condition for a 10 year old guitar. The wood binding looks even better in person. Really sets it off. Plays just beautiful.

Hope it's OK to post these here. I thought I'd add a few pictures I took with my Trinity 5E3 Deluxe that I built from a kit a few years ago. I built the cabinet myself out of solid pine and covered it with the tweed as well. The ASAT and the Deluxe are a tone marriage made in heaven. What could be better than two Fullerton originals side by side? Well except the amp isn't really from Fullerton...but it's ancestry is. :D

Sweet ASAT Case24! Oh yeah, we all know black guitars sound better.

Yes, it is always OK to post pictures and tone reports round here.

No need for pedals with this amp! You can control the gain with the guitar's volume and shape it with the tone control. When the amp starts to roar it has an almost reverb like swirling effect. The bridge and middle position are my favorite so far.

Love how the binding color matches, and thus ties together, the headstock and the amp tweed!
