Happy St Patty's Day!

Here's my greenie where I did a few mods. First picture is before mods. Switched pups - now have Dimarzio Air Norton in neck and Dimarzio Evolution in bridge, added a 4 way switch and added a push-pull knob. Original toggle switch is wired to split bridge and push pull knob is wired to split the neck. Think Deluxe, Bluesboy, ASAT, HB and more all rolled into one!

The AirNorton gives a very nice split sound and the Evolution takes distortion more to the Steve Vai sound I want from this guitar. All in all this can do close all I want for a two hummer geetar.

Sam, thanks for posting photos of your greenie.
Sounds like it has evolved into quite a versatile guitar.

How did you get the lefty Invader? The G&L site indicates that they aren't available left-handed. (But good for you, however you did it!).:smoking030:

I bought it used maybe three years ago, I think it's an early '00s guitar, a custom order. They obviously did make them in lefty at one point. It's a mahogany body.

Cool. I'll take that as a sign that maybe they'll be willing to build lefty Invaders again at some point. :D
Also, I forgot to mention it in my last post, but that's a great looking ASAT Deluxe. Thanks for posting.

Whoa! Vai? Don't mess with Sam. :BangBang:

Sounds like a fun geetar! I have used quite a few Dimarzio's in my builds and have liked them all. Air Norton, tone zone, paf pro, breed, and the area singles. Put a full set of the areas in my Legacy. Pleased with all of them. Their tech support is also very helpful.
