Was gonna special order a S-500 but thinking instead maybe just buying a stock one and changing out
pickguard and pickup covers, thats the only difference.
Why wait months and extra cost,so my question is,does anyone know if you can order the pickguards
seperatley and pickup covers? Does fender pickup covers fit on these pickups?
Thanx for help

You might check with any local G&L dealers, as they may have them in stock.tce44 wrote:Ok thanx ,unfortuanately there sold out.
I'll try and find out when G&L plans to add new stock to the On-Line Store.
Stay tuned.

Re: Pickguards/Pickup Cover Question?
Ordering a guitar vs. buying one off the shelf doesn't add cost in and of itself, unless: the dealer is tacking on extra charges, the guitar off the shelf is effected by an applied discount or the guitar off the shelf was ordered by the store when prices were lower.
I special ordered a guitar and it ended up costing less than the model of guitar available online already built and in stock at the time.
A dealer may take a smaller cut to offer a competitive price and gain sales.
