GL serial number

Post by omega1996 »

I'm looking at a GL 2500L tribute bass with this serial number : 03081392
It doesn't match with the type of serial number I can find on this website. Is it a fake one or something ? How can I be sure ?

Also, see this post in the General G&L Questions sub-forum: Serial number significance.
It provides a complete rundown of all G&L serial number formats.

Hope this helps, too.
